Terms and Conditions of Use for Seren.ai (Beta)

Thank you for participating in the beta version of Seren.ai. By using our application, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please refrain from using Seren.ai.

1. Overview of Seren.ai (Beta)

Seren.ai is a voice-controlled productivity tool designed for task and shift management, primarily intended for use in construction and related industries. As a beta user, you acknowledge that the app is in a testing phase and may be subject to changes, including the addition of new features, functionalities, or integrations.

2. User-Generated Content

Seren.ai collects and stores content that users input directly into the app. This content includes:

• Voice Recordings: Audio data from user interactions with the app, which is processed to fulfill voice commands.

• Transcriptions: Text versions of voice recordings to process tasks and commands.

All user-AI interactions, including voice commands and AI responses, are retained to improve user experience and support features. Seren.ai does not collect data beyond what users explicitly input.

3. Personal Identification Information (PII)

Seren.ai collects only the information users directly input, such as:

• Roles and User-Provided Contact Information: Including phone numbers and email addresses, solely for setting up accounts, receiving alerts, and enabling notifications. Seren.ai does not store job titles or proactively seek additional personal information.

4. Location Data

Seren.ai may integrate location-tracking capabilities in the future. If implemented, this feature will allow users to input location data on demand for managing on-site tasks but will not involve continuous location tracking.

5. Work Stories and Task Management Data

The app securely stores information users and their managers enter directly within Seren.ai:

• Task Details and Project Notes: Including task assignments, deadlines, progress updates, and completion status.

• Work Stories: Details of shifts, clock-in/clock-out times, break records, and work hours to manage attendance and work patterns.

All Work Stories data is stored solely based on information entered by the user or their manager within Seren.ai and is not supplemented by any other employment history information.

6. Device Information

To ensure optimal functionality, we collect basic device identifiers (such as IP addresses and device IDs) for troubleshooting purposes. In the future, Seren.ai may integrate tools like Firebase Crashlytics, and we will update our Terms and Conditions accordingly, outlining what data is collected.

7. User Preferences and Behavioral Data

To improve app performance, Seren.ai may track data regarding general usage patterns, including frequently used commands and interactions. This information remains confidential and is used to enhance the overall user experience.

8. Photos and Files

Users may upload images, PDFs, or files directly into the app. Such project-related media are used strictly for task management and are protected under Seren.ai's secure storage policies.

9. Third-Party Integrations

Seren.ai integrates with third-party providers to facilitate certain app functions:

• Supabase: For database management and secure storage.

• Powersync: For API and task synchronization.

• Anthropic AI: Powers AI-driven responses within the app.

• Firebase Crashlytics (Future Integration): For error tracking and performance monitoring.

Each third-party provider has its privacy policies, which users are encouraged to review. Data shared with these providers is managed in accordance with their respective terms.

10. Data Security

Seren.ai implements robust security measures to protect user data from unauthorized access or misuse. While we strive to ensure security, users acknowledge that no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

11. Disclaimer

Seren.ai is provided "as-is" in its beta version, and we do not warrant that it will meet all user requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted or error-free. By using Seren.ai, you agree to hold us harmless for any issues arising from its beta functionality.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions may be updated as new features are introduced or third-party integrations evolve. We will notify users of any significant changes.
